Name: John Truman Carter, III
Job: Attending ER Physician
Age: 37
Sex: Male
Appearance (picture or description): s147.photobucket.com/albums/r290/initiatesix/?action=view¤t=904-1.jpg
Personality: Dr. Carter is what most people want in a doctor - calm, collected, and supremely dedicated to his work. The level of care he has for his patients is the very thing that pulled him out of a Surgical residency to start all over again in the ER. Now an attending ER physician, his experience has made him confident in his abilities. Outside of the hospital, however, he is shy to an extent, and has some problems communicating, particularly in relationships.
Family: Father, John Carter Jr.; Mother, Eleanor Carter; Grandmother, Millicent Carter (deceased); Brother, Robert Carter (deceased); Son, Joshua Carter (stillborn).
Spouse: None, though he was very recently divorced from Makemba Likasu.
Children: Joshua (stillborn).
Background: Carter was born on June 4, 1970 into a very wealthy household. From birth, his parents decided that he would join the family business and eventually take over. However, after watching his brother die from Leukemia he decided that his future rested only in the medical field, much to his parents' dismay. Still, they respected his wishes and paid his way through medical school, and helping to support him while he started at County General, another Chicago hospital. He started out in Surgery before deciding to leave that particular field and join the ER staff, going so far as to accept no pay for the first year of residency. After a stint in the Congo with the group Doctors Without Borders, he met Makemba Likasu, with whom he eventually left Chicago. However, their relationship fell apart after their marriage and it wasn't long before Dr. Carter returned to the states and applied to Saint Claire.
Training(Optional): One completed year of Surgical residency, ER physician for eight years.
Length of time at SCH: Just started (in fact, I'm going to RP out his first day).
Other Facts: None.
