Meredith knew, she'd done the surgery on a child, it just happened it was too late for him and he died. She panicked, and it wasn't a small panic either. She breathed hard, gasping for air. Then she began to thrash and cry harder than before. [/sub]

"don' panic and stay awake.don't pass out.If you pass out I can't operate n a specific position you may be in."This is simple surgery but she had been ignoring it all day.She could die if not operated on soon.

Meredith had never had surgery before, and she was completely petrified. She gasped a name but it was hard to make out. She closed her eyes and just whimpered in pain and fear. She seemed calm for a few minutes then her body began to jump, her eyes rolled, her face looking terrifying. Her body fought it but she'd been Sepsis since the doctors had gotten there... and it was killing her, very very quickly now. [/sub]

"In a couple minutes i'm going to take you to the OR and we'll knock you out.Sometimes the IV can cause low oxygen levels and if it does we will hook you up to oxygen again. This should only take half an hour if we remove it with care.As for your recovery we will give you tylenol chodene and motrin. You'll take it no more than twice a day at least six hours apart."Now contacting the OR to alert them about Dr.Grey they just had to wait for a clear space.

Meredith didn't hear a word he said. She was going to die if something wasn't done immediatly. Her heart was racing dangerously, her breathing slowing to a stop, her eyes rolled and her body tensing. [/sub]

Over the radio he heard "O'connor clear."He rushed to the OR and showed his ID.He knew this would have to be done quickly or she could die.He immediately took the first spot he found for this type of surgery.

He had a nurse put the iv into the syringe while he got the several tools he would need.He came up to her."this would be like a shot but it comes out easy."He told her and then he stuck in in.

Meredith didn't hear a single thing he said. She had been passed out since before they left the call room.

He straightened her out and made a small incision over the appendix. He observed how the useless part of the digestion system was blocked.

Her appendix would need to be removed if she even had a chance of survival. She laid quietly. [/sub]

He used the scalpel to take the appendix out carefully.About half an hour later He had finished putting intestinal wall on the opening where the appendix was.He put disinfectant on the incision and a very sticky bandage made to hold it together. Now she had to wake up.
